Artist's Comments

Just another guitar photograph :) Critique? Just had to try out another pose ;P Photoshopped for sepia-ish effect and border, as well as text of course.

That's a beaut. The eyes are what make the music here and not the guitar lol.

On a side note, this reminds me I am looking for a guitar to learn on.

In that case, I'll hold off the fave 'til I see whether this is the finished product or not. Critique. :X I hate harshing on people. Critiquing sucks. :P I agree, the eyes make the picture. Lovely eyes, and I like the armband too. But the guitar is sorta forgotten. I guess I'm weird. I feel like looking at the camera makes a good scrapbook photo. "This is me at Yellowstone, this is me with my guitar..." But it takes people out of their element. They're intentionally posing for the camera. If you catch them in their element, like they don't know the camera's there, it's more artistic. This makes a great ID tho. =)

Such a pretty face. Your eyes are intoxicating cholif, very easy to get lost in them. I like the sephia effect. Kinda reminds me of a CD cover. Nice. :+favlove:

Thankyou very mch for the compliment, and critique on my work as always, much appreciated :) You can probably get a good acoustic guitar for around 200.00$.

I'm not sure how to be a self photographer and still be in natural element, but maybe I can sneak up on myself ;P Thanks, I appreciate the critique. So you were looking for more emotion, or more emphasis on the guitar portion of the photo? Any suggestions as to how you would do things differently? And no worries, I'm always looking for constructive criticism as it's a foundation for creating great art :)

Thankyou, it's very flattering to hear you say that. I've always favoured my eyes, hence all of the photos of them :-p A CD cover? Wow, I appreciate you saying. Thanks for the feedback :)

Caught yourself perfectly in the last two. =) They look like you were playing, oblivious to the camera, totally into the music. I do see emotion here: coy but intense, a casual confidence behind it, and danger. Woe to the man who must say no to those eyes. What I'm looking for isn't important. It's your art. ;) The best suggestion I can give is don't underestimate the eyes. The apparent lack of makeup really brings them out, makes them more real. But it's impossible to focus on anything else. They steal the show. Your eyes are the whole picture. (Just promise to use their power only for good.)
:iconcholif:
Lol, I'll for sure use them for good, and duely noted. I can't well control what stands out in the photo unless I intentionally make it obvious, though it's objecive in this photo, though the eyes do seem most common. I'm not sure how to make teh focul point something else :-p Any tips?
